THELMA'S RECIPES
RAISIN PIE
(makes 2 pies)
1 - 15 oz. box o' raisins
1/2 stick o'butter
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
4 pie crust, (two tops & two bottoms)
Put raisins in pot and cover with water and cook until done. When raisins are done put
in butter and let melt. Mix sugar and flour together. Then put flour and sugar mix
in with raisin mix. Stir well. Put mix in pie crust. Put top pie crust on.  Use fork to
poke holes in crust.  Bake 400 degrees until pie crust is golden brown.
CRACKER DUMPLINS'

Boil chicken, add dash of salt.
Put crackers in bowl and
pour broth over crackers...
EAT & ENJOY!
PEANUT BUTTER, BANANA & RAISIN SANDWICHES

Put a few heapin' spoonfuls of peanut butter in a bowl.
Mix banana (a good ripe one is best) in with the peanut butter.
Put in desired amount of raisins in mixture.
Stir well and spread on bread.....Eat & Enjoy!!
CHILI

1 lb hamburger meat

1 can chili (no beans)
(if you can find - put in one
block of chili instead of the can)

1 can of water- add more if needed

2 teaspoons of chili powde

Cook hamburger meat until done, drain off grease. Add chili,
water and chili powder to meat. Cook until heated.

Chocolate Gravy:

1 cup sugar
5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
pinch of salt
3 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups water
1 cup milk
1/2 stick butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Pour 2 cups water and 3/4 cup milk in pot,
and butter. Bring to a boil.

Mix vanilla, sugar, flour, salt, and cocoa in
bowl add 1/4 milk, stir until mixed together
well.

Add the mixture to the boiling water, stir
constantly. When gravy thickens turn off
heat.

Serve over COOKED biscuits!!!
